  2. you are testing it wrong. The EPA test the vehicles at 60mph! Also ford has it where it counts up from a certain MPG. My Fusion Titanium gets 34mpg driving at 60mph, I get about 29mpg driving 70mph, and 26mpg driving 80mph. When I reset my current mpg (which is a distance divided by fuel consumption which will count against you when stopped) the starting count mpg for my Titanium Fusion is 22mpg that goes up over time to 34mpg (If I'm driving 60mph). Consuming only .2 of a gallon doesn't allow the system to get a get correct average. Your testing is no where accurate!

  7. well ford knows how they test at the EPA so they made all their hybrids able to drive up to 62mph in electric only mode and that how they sorta tricked the EPA. At the time the EPA didn't account for where the electricity came from so it was 47mpg across the board.

    1. I am not exactly sure of your point? This blog and my fuelly account prove that the car will not have a lifetime average anywhere near 47 MPG especially if you live in the northern USA or canada...
